TOP PROSPECTS TAKE TROLLEY TOUR OF PHILADELPHIA
Top prospects Samuel BennettAaron EkbladSam ReinhartLeon Draisaitl,Michael Dal Colle and Anthony DeAngelo took a trolley tour of Philadelphia on Wednesday, stopping at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Rocky Statue, LOVE Park, Pat’s and Geno’s, and the Betsy Ross House.
 
They concluded the day by participating in batting practice at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies and the 2012 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.
 
“You don’t really realize how far away the wall is,” Bennett said. “It feels a whole lot farther than it looks.”
 
“It’s fun having guys that I know I’m going to be watching in a few years be the superstars of the NHL coming up,” added former major leaguer Matt Stairs, now a member of the Phillies broadcast team. “To have a chance to be on the field with them, talk to them, see what they have baseball-wise, it’s fun to watch. It’ll be fun to see these guys play [in the NHL].”
