Quarterback Robert Griffin III tweeted Monday that he’s been cleared to practice with the Washington Redskins, who being training camp on Thursday.
Doctors cleared me to practice. Coach is going to ease me in. Thank you for your support & See you in Richmond

The Washington Post had reported that Griffin was to be evaluated by Dr. James Andrews, who performed the surgery to repair his torn ACL and LCL in his right knee, on Wednesday. It is unclear if the visit with Dr. Andrews will have any change on Griffin’s status.
NFL Network, however, reported Monday that Griffin will not be placed on the physically unable to perform list to begin camp but won’t initially take part in team drills, instead practicing in 7-on-7 drills.
