Redskins WR Pierre Garcon Cleared For Training Camp

Dr. James Andrews has been on a roll this week.

On Wednesday, Andrews cleared Texans linebacker Brian Cushing to play. Cushing, who tore his ACL in October, will now be able to practice when Houston’s veterans report to training camp on July 25.

Andrews has also given the all-clear to Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon, according to the Washington Post. Garcon had surgery in January to repair the labrum in his right shoulder.

Garcon was limited to 10 games last season, but it had nothing to do with his labrum. The 26-year-old missed six of the Redskins first nine games thanks to a torn ligament in the second toe of his right foot, an injury Garcon chose not to have surgery on.
