The team got back on the practice field following their bye on Tuesday and D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Roddy White was not able to join them. White picked up a hamstring injury in the Week Five loss to the Jets that reportedly left him as a “50-50 shot, at best” to play in Week Seven against the Buccaneers.
Running back Steven Jackson also wasn’t at practice, one day after coach Mike Smith said he had no update on the condition of the veteran’s hamstring. Jackson has been out since the second week of the season and his inability to practice does not signal an end to his absence from the offense is coming to an end in the near future.
Left tackle Sam Baker was also a non-participant for the Falcons. Baker has missed two of the last three games, although the Falcons line has struggled with and without him this season.
