Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis decided to give it a whirl today by playing with a groin strain, yet he’s back on the sidelines after suffering yet another injury.
Revis jumped out in front of Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith, nearly picking off Cam Newton.
Revis dropped the ball as he fell hard to the ground. He laid on the field for several minutes as he was tended to by the training staff before heading to the locker room.
He suffered injuries to his chest and neck and his return is questionable, according to the team.
Last week against the Lions, Revis left the game after suffering the groin injury. He has been replaced by Danny Gorrer.
