During free agency, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed quarterback Josh McCown and they could draft a future QB next week. So where does that leave backup Mike Glennon?
According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Bucs are willing to trade Glennon.
Glennon was last year’s third-round pick and he started 13 games. Pro Football Talk points out that there were times when he looked pretty competent, but not enough to keep him around for the long haul.
The Bucs have been favored as a possible landing spot for Johnny Manziel, so it makes sense that Glennon would be out. With McCown already in Tampa for this season, there is no need to keep Glennon around.
