During The Denver Broncos‘ open OTA’s this week, Peyton Manning was spotted practicing with a green football.
Per this photo from the NFL’s Facebook page, his ball was covered in a bright green fabric and he’s not telling us why.
When reporters continued to ask about it, he got a little rude.
“Like I said, that’s official Denver Broncos offensive business, right? It’s kind of an A and B conversation and you can C your way out of it,” Manning said.
Sorry for being curious, Mr. Manning.
It’s okay though because we always count on coach John Fox to tell the truth. He told reporters that the fabric on the ball is for “ball security” purposes.
Maybe he should have used this mysterious fabric to practice for the Super Bowl…
