Patriots Sign Sixth-Rounder Jemea Thomas

Five down, four to go for the Patriots’ 2014 draft class.

The agents for defensive back Jemea Thomas announced that their client has agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the Patriots.

The sixth-round pick played corner and safety during his Georgia Tech career and coach Bill Belichick called him “an interesting guy” because of his versatility.

With Thomas signed, first-round defensive tackle Dominique Easley, second-round quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, fourth-round center Bryan Stork and sixth-round guard Jon Halapio are the Patriots draftees without signed deals.
