NFL Network Pulls the Plug on Browns vs Rams

NFL News: Browns Violate NFL Signage Rules

On Sunday the NFL Network decided not to televise a replay of Saturday’s preseason game between the Cleveland Browns and the St. Louis Rams.  At first you may think it had something to do with “Johnny Football,” but Manziel had nothing to do with the decision.

It turns out that the Cleveland Browns were in violation of the NFL’s rule against using virtual signage during the pre-season. If you are unfamiliar with virtual signage, it is the digital advertisements that are not actually at the stadium, but appear in the broadcast after being added online. Since the Browns broke the rule, the NFL Network will now have to get their hands on the Rams version of the game before they can re-broadcast it.

At this time it’s unclear when the game will be re-televised.
