Each day, in an effort to make the time fly by between NFL dry season and training camp, the NFL Network has been revealing one of its “top 100 plays from 2013” on the show NFL AM.
Monday morning, the show selected running back Mike James‘ jump pass to tight end Tom Crabtree for a touchdown against the Seahawks as the the No. 46 best play of the year. (You can watch it there too)
Who could forget quarterback Mike Glennon handing it off to James, who was starting just his second NFL game ever, with James leaping into the air, delivering a Tebow-esque jump ball to a falling Crabtree?
It probably would have been listed higher had the 4-12 Bucs pulled off the upset against the eventual Super Bowl champs. Instead, the Seahawks came roaring back to win 27-24 in overtime.
Thus far, it’s been the only Bucs’ play that’s made it onto the list.
