Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick told NFL.com’s Dan Hanzus that he will “absolutely” be a starter by Week 1 of next season.
Vick lost his starting job to Nick Foles, who went on to throw for 2,891 yards with 27 touchdowns and only two interceptions and become the league’s highest rated passer.
Vick’s problem was that he couldn’t stay healthy this season, suffering a hamstring injury earlier in the season.
Being the recent underdog that he is, please pardon the pun, Vick seems like the right man to guide the Eagles far into the playoffs.
