Manningham has agreed to a one-year deal with the Giants, a league source tells Pro Football Talk.
The 27-year-old Manningham was a third-round draft pick of the Giants in 2008 and played four years there.
Manningham signed a two-year contract with the 49ers as a free agent in 2012, but he never contributed much in San Francisco.
Manningham has a good rapport with Eli Manning and is a natural to fill in for the departed Hakeem Nicks in the Giants’ passing game.
