According to Pro Football Talk, he wants to make this season great. He had a relatively decent first season as a rookie with the San Diego Chargers and he says that the offseason was great for him.
Te’o told U-T- San Diego that the rookie years is the hardest.
“You go non-stop. It’s all football from your last game in college to preparing for the combine to preparing for the draft to getting drafted and then coming straight to rookie minicamp and going through the real thing. The offseason allowed me to just get some away time and get a jumpstart in my workouts. It was good.”
Te’o says he is in the best shape of his life and he’s excited to build off last year.
The Chargers are hoping for the same thing. Defense struggled a bit in 2013 so Te’o will need to step it up to make an impact this season.
