This morning I joined Eric Lopez on Sports Talk 1040 (Tampa) and 1080 (Orlando) to talk about the Bucs-Patriots game, offering some observations from the game after a second viewing, and after things had a chance to marinate.
Eric and I talked about how the momentum of the game completely changed when the Bucs went for it on fourth-down very early on and how New England took over from there.
We talked about the loss of Vincent Jackson and how the Bucs receivers struggled without their true No. 1., and what his status is after suffering a rib injury. But even with Jackson in there, the Bucs receivers have had some uncharacteristic drops.
We also talked about how not having a threat over the middle and why its hindering the offense.
We addressed if the possibility exists that Greg Schiano would consider putting backup Mike Glennon in if things don’t improve, and if so, when?
We also talked about the team’s release of Peyton Hillis, activating Jeff Demps to the 53-man roster, and how Demps can contribute.
You can listen to it all right here:
