Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka said it is up to the Giants defense to carry the team while quarterback Eli Manning tries to dig himself out of his season-long slump and they may have to do the carrying without the help of defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.
Pierre-Paul hurt his shoulder last Sunday against the Raiders, limiting him for most of the game after getting a sack during a strong first quarter.
Pierre-Paul didn’t practice on Wednesday, won’t practice on Thursday and said that he won’t rush back into the lineup unless he feels he can play a complete game.
“I’ll see how it feels Sunday. I’m not going to rush back for no reason. I’m not going to go out there unless I feel comfortable and I feel I can play the whole game, not half a game,” Pierre-Paul said.
