Just one week after having sports hernia surgery, Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is still unsure if he will be ready for training camp in July.
According to Pro Football Talk, coach Bill O’Brien says that Clowney will be healthy enough for camp, but Clowney himself is still taking it day by day.
He told the Houston Chronicle that he is feeling better but he wouldn’t come out and say that he will definitely be ready.
Clowney has been learning a new position and a new scheme so he will need to keep studying while he goes through rehab to get better. There’s quite a big transition for him to get used to by the start of fall.
The Texans wanted him to take of his injury now so that he is ready for the season.
