Lorenzo Neal was a fullback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers many years ago and he talked to NFL Network about his experience playing for team owner Malcolm Glazer, who passed away on Wednesday.
Neal says that Malcolm was an awesome owner, he was a great man, and he treated people well.
“I remember opening up that stadium…I remember him buying me a pair of Ferragamo shoes, giving all the money that they gave you, they still bought me a pair of shoes. I mean, he was just the man that really loved his players, a guy that would just always be in the locker room, and he wanted to be an owner that was good to people.”
Neal continued to say that he will definitely be missed. He said that Mr. Glazer was always saying hello and was an overall welcoming presence in the locker room.
