Buffalo Bills’ quarterback EJ Manuel has a lot of pressure on his shoulders as the 2014 season quickly approaches.
This will be his second season as the starter for the team so this offseason, he’s not messing around. Manuel told SiriusXM Radio that his biggest area of improvement involves him being smarter on the field.
His solution to getting better? Hang out with San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick during the offseason. Manuel says that he just tried to follow his lead during workouts.
Kaepernick is a pretty solid workout partner to learn from so hopefully he rubbed off on Manuel in a positive way.
The Bills have a talented defense, highlighted by first-round pick Sammy Watkins. Now, it’s up to Manuel to lead the offense.
