New York Jets wide receiver David Nelson confirmed that Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones made threatening comments Sunday. However, the receiver isn’t worried enough to change his address.
“I wouldn’t say it was a threat,” Nelson said of Jones’ comments, per ESPN New York. “I’m not going to say that he threatened me or anything like that. He did say some stuff on the field, but I wouldn’t take it as a threat. I’m not going to get into specifics of exactly what he said. But I can confirm I’ve read a lot of reports that are true.”
Jones was reported to have said: “I’m going to find out where you live and come and get you,” after he several plays by Nelson that Jones deemed as dirty.
Nelson might not be worried about Jones showing up on his doorstep, but he did take exception to being called dirty.
