The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made great strides in training camp this week, including eight turnovers in Monday’s practice. While the offense may have gotten the edge just a bit in Tuesday’s practice, this type of competitive balance is a good sign for what’s to come.

It’s also a good sign for strong safety Mark Barron, who’s had three interceptions in camp so far. Head coach Lovie Smith said at the beginning of training camp that Barron was a hard-hitter, but needed to improve his coverage skills, and it appears he’s doing just that.
