Brooks is a retired linebacker and he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in August. Brooks is very involved in the Tampa Bay area and he will be announcing the Bucs’ second-round draft pick in New York this Friday.
The Bucs will announce who will be named to their Ring of Honor Tuesday and the person selected joins Warren Sapp, who became the first and only first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Fame selection in franchise history for the Buccaneers.
The Bucs are about to announce a press conference for next Tuesday in which the next Ring of Honor inductee will be revealed. — Scott Smith (@ScottSBucs) May 2, 2014
It’s pretty obvious that with his past and recent accomplishments, Derrick Brooks will be honored this year.
