Bucs Sign Denton and Daniels

The Bucs concluded rookie mini camp and have wasted no time making roster moves.

A source tells me the team signed former Mount Union receiver Chris Denton. I mentioned Denton, who was at camp on a tryout-basis, in both my rookie camp video analysis and in my post-camp write-up.

The Bucs made an upgrade to the offensive line by signing Northern Michigan offensive tackle Jace Daniels, another tryout player.

I am also told that the team signed former Temple defensive tackle Andre Neblett, who spent three seasons with the Carolina Panthers.

The Bucs have cut ties with defensive tackle Richard Clebert, offensive guard Roger Allen, and defensive end George Selvie.

Purdue running back Akeem Shavers, a CFA, has been waived.
