Bucs all-pro cornerback Darrelle Revis has left the Lions game after sustaining a groin injury and his return is questionable, according to an official announcement by the Buccaneers.
Revis lined up against Lions star wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who was targeted six times and four catches for 61 receiving yards in the first half.
He left the field a few plays before halftime to be examined by trainers and was tended to on the field before taking the bench to receive some ice.
He has been replaced by rookie Johnthan Banks, who had previously lined up opposite Revis, with Leonard Johnson and Danny Gorrer stepping in.
Tight end Tom Crabtree suffered an arm injury in the first half and is out for the remainder of the game.
The Bucs are already without starting free safety Dashon Goldson, who is serving a one-game suspension, and middle linebacker Mason Foster, who suffered a concussion last week and was not cleared to play.
The Bucs held a 17-14 lead going into the half before Brandon Pettigrew caught an 18-yard touchdown less than five-and-a-half minutes into the third quarter.
