The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are continuing a strong run on free agents, signing former Bengals offensive tackle Anthony Collins.
It is a five-year deal worth $30 million with $15 million guaranteed.
His arrival in Tampa likely means the end for starting left tackle Donald Penn, who is scheduled to earn $8 million in 2014.
Days before free agency began, a source told Sports Talk Florida that the Bucs were front-runners to land Collins if the Bengals couldn’t re-sign him.
Collins, 28, started seven of 15 games for the Bengals last season and has 25 starts in his six-year career.
