Adam Podlesh Signs With Steelers

The Steelers used two different punters in the regular season last year and their quest to find a permanent solution at the position has led them to Adam Podlesh.

The team announced Tuesday that they have signed Podlesh to a one-year deal. Podlesh was released by the Bears early last month.

Mat McBriar and Zoltan Mesko handled the punting duties in Pittsburgh last season. Podlesh joins Brad Wing, who has never punted in a regular season game, on the Steelers roster at the moment, although the team could still go in various directions at punter before next season gets underway.
