Lawyers representing former New England Patriots’ tight end Aaron Hernandez, are challenging certain forms of evidence in the murder trial.
Hernandez’s attorneys are asking the judge to throw out surveillance video from his home, evidence from cell phones, and from other electronics.
However, prosecutors in the case say that the evidence they want to rid of is “powerful.”
Hernandez is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday for attacking an inmate and threatening to kill a guard and the guard’s family at a county jail. His other charges include the murder of two men in 2012.
