Kubiak: Foster, Tate Are “End Of The Week” Decisions

The Texans signed three running backs earlier this week just in case, but they’re hoping at least one of the regulars is able to go this weekend.

According to Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle, Ben Tate (ribs) practiced lightly on Wednesday and said earlier this week he expects to play Sunday night against the Colts.

Arian Foster (hamstring), on the other hand, didn’t practice Wednesday but ran on the side with trainers, and coach Gary Kubiak wasn’t ready to rule him out either.

Kubiak said, however, that he still thinks it will be an “end of the week decision” for both players, and although having both would help, getting one of them back would be significant enough as the team tries to salvage something with Case Keenum starting at quarterback.
