Despite the win, Wallace was upset after getting one reception for 15 yards, a reaction that made local and national headlines. Wallace explained on Monday that he was personally upset and didn’t mean to cause a stir with the team.
“I’m mad at myself just because I didn’t have a good game,” Wallace said in the locker room. “That’s all.”
Wallace was asked to clarify comments he made to reporters Sunday. In terse comments he had said to ask the coaching staff why he didn’t get many opportunities against Cleveland.
