Cowboys Lose Ware And Murray Against Redskins

Cowboys_Demarco_Murray_1ARLINGTON, Texas — Two key Dallas Cowboys starters are out for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins due to injuries suffered in the second quarter.

Running back DeMarco Murray suffered a sprained left knee. Defensive end DeMarcus Ware injured his right quadriceps.

Ware, the franchise’s all-time sacks leader with 115, left the game late in the second quarter after rushing the passer. After a few minutes, he walked to the locker room along with assistant athletic trainer Britt Brown.

Ware, a nine-year veteran, never has missed a game during his NFL career.
