ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that OL Kraig Urbik (pronounced ER-bick) has signed a contract extension with the team. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Urbik has started 26 of 34 games played with Buffalo since being claimed and awarded off of waivers from Pittsburgh on September 30, 2010.
The 6-5, 324-pound Wisconsin product originally entered the NFL as a third-round (79th overall) draft choice of Pittsburgh in 2009. He spent his rookie season with the Steelers. At Wisconsin, Urbik made 50 starts en route to All-Big Ten Conference honors in 2007 and 2008.
