Broncos Working To Cut Chris Kuper’s Pay

Chris Kuper is one of the Broncos’ longest-tenured players, but he’s going to have to take a pay cut if he wants to remain one.

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the Broncos are working on a restructured contract for the reserve offensive lineman, who isn’t scheduled to start practicing until next week. Kuper’s still coming back from multiple ankle surgeries, and while they hope he can play in the last preseason game, he’s no sure thing to start the regular season.
