After Willis McGahee injured his knee early in the second quarter Sunday vs. the Chargers, the Broncos running back reportedly told people that he thought he’d be OK and that the injury wasn’t serious.
Sounds like it’s a little more serious than he originally thought.
According to ESPN, McGahee tore his MCL and will miss the next six to eight weeks. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said the reason his recovery will take so long is because McGahee also suffered a fracture in his leg.
