Bears’ Briggs Wants To Cut His Rehab Time In Half

Quarterback Jay Cutler isn’t the only injured Bear who thinks he’s ahead of schedule.

Bears linebacker Lance Briggs, who was expected to miss four to six weeks with a shoulder injury, said he might cut those numbers in half.

“The way injuries go, the doctors said I’m supposed to be out 4-6 weeks,” Briggs said during his weekly television show on Comcast (via “I feel more like I’ll be out 2-3 [weeks]. We’ll meet somewhere in the middle.”
