Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports that Mario Williams was “limping mightily” after the game and that he was headed for an x-ray, although what body part was set for a scan remains unknown. Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports that a Bills official later confirmed that Williams was undergoing treatment and that he would not have a comment for the media.
Without further information, it’s impossible to know what, if any, impact this will have on the Bills defense. Even if Williams is fine, however, the Bills are losing players at a rapid rate on defense and they’ll need some of them to return to the lineup in order to offer any serious resistance in the coming weeks.
