NFL Draft: What Will Bucs Do with No. 7 Pick?
The big question in Tampa Bay is what the Buccaneers will do with their No. 7 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Will they draft a quarterback like Johnny Manziel or will they feed their biggest need and get a different Aggie like wide receiver Mike Evans? Here’s why they should choose the latter.
With a striking need for a solid, fast, and agile wide receiver, the Bucs needs to choose wisely and they need to choose fast. This is why they should select WR Mike Evans from Texas A&M.
This 6’5″, 231 pound wideout is the answer to the Bucs’ offensive woes. His playing style and determination on the field is a perfect match for WR Vincent Jackson. Evans can easily be compared to Jackson and had 12 touchdowns last year with the Aggies. Having two explosive wide receivers is like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You don’t just let it sit there.
The Bucs will most definitely utilize two outside threats, rather than another backup QB. Which is why, a smart move for Tampa Bay would be to get Evans while he’s hot. He shined at the Combine and drafting him would give the Bucs an advantage down the field.
So which Aggies great will the Bucs choose?
