NFL Draft: Redskins Consider Trading Into First Round

RGIII

TheWashington Redskinsare without a first-round draft pick once again. After risking their future to draft Robert Griffin III in 2012, they will need to wait it out until Day 2 of the 2014 Draft before they are on the clock.

However, according to a source who spoke withWalter Football, the Redskins could be eyeing a trade up.

Charlie Campbell ofWalterFootball.comwrites:

"Sources with the Redskins tell WalterFootball.com that they believe some good talents are going to fall to the Nos. 30-34 range. Washingtons first selection is the second pick of the second round, so moving up into the Nos. 30-32 range could cost as little as a mid-level third-day pick."

If getting into the first round can cost the Redskins a third-day pick, then it seems easy to think there is a real shot that Washington could jump into the mix.

What position they would target is still question that has yet to be answered.
