Most Outstanding Player Joakim Noah Led The 2005-06 Florida Gators To An Upset Over The UCLA Bruins For The NCAA Championship

It is Sweet 16 time and the University of Florida’s quest for a third National Championship will continue on Thursday night in Memphis. The Gators will face the UCLA Bruins at around 9:10 p.m. ET.

Many Gators fans will recall that the two teams faced each other for 2005-2006 National Championship Game. Florida upset UCLA that night led by Joakim Noah.

CBS will have the broadcast with Kevin Harlan doing the play by play duties. He will be joined by Len Elmore and Reggie Miller handling the analyst duties. The in game reporter will be Rachel Nichols as the CBS/Turner Sports crews have been set for the games on Thursday and Friday.

Studio coverage continues with Greg Gumbel hosting alongside analysts Charles BarkleyClark Kellogg and Kenny Smith from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York.  Ernie Johnson hosts studio coverage from Turner Studios in Atlanta with analysts Steve Smith, Seth Davis, Grant Hill and Doug Gottlieb. 

Sports Talk Florida will have the tip times for the Regional Final games on Saturday will be announced on Thursday after the conclusion of the day’s games. Sunday’s tip times will be released after the conclusion of play on Friday.

The Final Four on Saturday, April 5 will be televised on TBS for the first time along with “teamcasts” or team-specific telecasts airing on TNT and truTV. The National Championship Game on Monday, April 7 will air on CBS for the 33rd consecutive year.
