Victor Oladipo hits game winning basket

Orlando Magic’s Victor Oladipo hit the game winning jumper with four seconds left in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Oladipo racked up 24 points while holding his opponent Michael Carter-Williams to 11 points.

In four games, Oladipo has averaged 19 points, five assists, 5.3 rebounds, three steals and 4.8 turnovers.

The young guard knows he has a lot of work to do before the season starts. One of the areas he will be focusing on is his turnovers.

“I’ve got to cut down on the turnovers or my last name is going to change from Oladipo to Mr. Turnover,” Oladipo said Tuesday after playing the Miami Heat.

While Oladipo has shown improvement he knows he has a long way to go, “At the end of the day, even if I shoot 10 for 10 I feel like I can be so much better with my jump shot. I missed a lot of easy shots today, so I’m going to get back in the gym and work on my shot and constantly work on my handle.”

The Magic will enter Orlando Pro Summer League Championship Day with 13 points and a 2-2 record. They will face the Boston Celtics who they beat 95-88 in Day 1 of the Orlando Pro Summer League. The game is set to tip off at 2 p.m.
