After the Orlando Magic took down the visiting Boston Celtics 93-91 Sunday night, the locker room was that of relief.
“It was nice to get a win, it does give you confidence moving forward,” Oladipo said.
The Magic had dropped the previous 10 games, eight of the ten by double digits.
Oladipo finished with nine points on 2-8 shooting and six rebounds.
“You play to win, no one likes to lose. It gets tough but winning tonight we can start fresh,” Oladipo continued.
41 games into his rookie season, Oladipo feels like he is forming into his own.
“Yeah, I don’t feel like a rookie anymore. I’m half way into the season, I feel more comfortable,” Oladipo said.
Tobias Harris finished with 18 points and seven rebounds Sunday night.
“We need it keep getting better and build off this win, I think we played team ball and that’s what got us the win,” Harris said.
As for the Celtics (14-28) they have lost both games following the return of point guard Rajon Rondo, each by a total of five points.
“It’s a tough process adapting to having Rondo back but it’s a good problem to have,” Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said.
The Magic will travel to play the Brooklyn nets Tuesday night, tip off set for 7:30pm.
