Orlando Magic Fall To The New Orleans Hornets

The Orlando Magic lost their third consecutive game to the New Orleans Hornets 97-94 Wednesday night at the Amway Center. The Magic struggled defensively throughout the night and allowed the Hornets to shot over 50 percent.

Hornets’ center Robin Lopez had an impressive performance early on by putting up 19 points at the half. Lopez ended up going 9-for-10 and 11-for-12 from the free throw line and contributing 29 points.

On the other side of the court, Jameer Nelson lead the team with 10 assists and had a season high of 28 points. After the game Nelson said, “I take what the defense gives me. It doesn’t matter how many points I score, I’m trying to win.”

Up next the Magic will travel to Washington to take on the Wizards Friday night at 7 p.m.
