No Firm Timetable Yet For Davis’ Return

Magic_Glen_Davis_1Glen Davis continues to recover from the broken bone in his left foot, but Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said in an interview published Tuesday that Orlando doesn’t “have a firm timetable yet” for Davis’ return to the floor.

Davis was Orlando’s second-leading scorer and rebounder when his feet became entangled with those of Iman Shumpert in the first quarter of a January loss to the New York Knicks, resulting in a fracture of the fifth metatarsal of his left foot. Hennigan says that Davis is “progressing slowly,” but that the pace of his recovery is intentional: “One thing that we want to make sure of is that when Glen does come back we don’t want him to re-aggravate that foot.”
