Magic vs Nets pre-game 11/3/13

The Magic (1-2) are coming off an impressive win against the New Orleans Pelicans Friday night.

Tonight Orlando will host the new look Brooklyn Nets (1-1). First year head coach Jason Kidd will make his season debut as coach for the Nets.

Brooklyn with the off-season additions of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are prime to make a championship run.

This will be a good measuring stick for a young Magic team hoping to put together back to back wins.

The Magic’s biggest issue in last season’s four-game sweep at the hands of the Nets was lack of offense. Orlando averaged just 76.3 points per game, its lowest against any opponent in 2012-13.

The Nets will try to earn a fifth straight win over the Magic before returning home to face Utah on Tuesday.

Arron Afflalo coming off a 30 point performance in the win over the Pelicans leads the Magic in scoring this season (22.3ppg).

Tip off set for 6pm.
