Magic Incorporate New Players

The Orlando Magic added three new faces to their roster as a result of the NBA trading deadline.

JJ Redick, Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith were traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for Bano Udrih, Tobias Harris and Doron Lamb this past Thursday.

With only Magic seven players available, the three new players had a few hours before the Cleveland game to meet the team and learn about Jacque Vaughn style of play.

Beno Udrih is a bit familiar with Jacque Vaughn since they both played for the Spurs in the 2006-07 season. The 8-year veteran put up 10 points and had seven assists during Saturday’s night game against Cleveland. On the same night, teammate Harris put up 14 points, blocked three shots and had six rebounds.

The Magic fell to 15-41 after Saturday night’s 118-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Injury update:

Jameer Nelson is out with a left knee patella contusion and he is listed day-to-day. Glen Davis will be out for most of the season if not all of the season with a left broken foot.

Hedo Turkoglu is currently serving a 20 game suspension and will return in late March.
