The trading rumors for JJ Redick have heated up as the trading deadline (Thursday Feb. 21st at 3 p.m.) fast approaches.
The Knicks, Bucks, Bulls, Pacers, Celtics and other teams have been rumored to have interest in the Magic’s shooting guard. At the moment, they are just rumors and nothing more. The Magic will make a move if they feel that will benefit them in the rebuilding process.
If Redick does not get traded he will become a free agent this summer. Redick has expressed he wants to stay in Orlando, but will weigh in all his options if he becomes a free agent during the off season.
Redick is currently averaging 15.4 points per game, which makes him one of only six NBA reserves averaging 14 points or more per game.
