NEW YORK (AP) — Today is another deadline day in the NBA labor talks.
Commissioner David Stern has given the players until today to accept the league’s latest offer, or he says the league will water down its proposals even further in future negotiations.
NBA players have made it clear to players association president Derek Fisher that they don’t want to accept the NBA’s latest deal and they do not fear Commissioner David Stern’s ultimatum, either.
Fisher says the current offer on the table from the NBA is “one we cannot accept.”
