Should Derrick Rose Return against Miami?

The Chicago Bulls will start their series against the Miami Heat Monday night without Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich and Derrick Rose.

The Bulls will need all the help they can get as they face four-time MVP Lebron James and the rest of the Heat club.

Rose’s decision of not playing has been criticized and questioned as of lately after seeing his other teammates battle through illnesses and injuries during the first round of the playoffs.

Rose has been cleared to play for two months but made the decision not to play because he doesn’t feel ready. He’s been scrimmaging 5-on-5 since mid-February but hasn’t ruled out playing in the playoffs.

If Rose decides to play that will not be a smart decision. He hasn’t played in almost a year and entering the playoffs at this stage of the game with players already in playoff mode will not benefit Rose or the Bulls.

If he wanted to play at all this season he should’ve made the transition during the regular season. At this point he should rule himself out for the rest of the season and not get the Bulls fans hopes up by saying theres a chance he might play.
