Orlando Magic focused on Protecting Home Court

One of the things the Orlando Magic want to accomplish this season is to protect their home court.

So far they have been able to do just that. After starting the season with two road losses, the Magic came back to Orlando and have won three consecutive home games. They first beat the Pelicans 110-90, then went on to beat the Brooklyn Nets 107-86 and most recently they beat the L.A. Clippers 98-90. Next the Orlando Magic (3-2) will host the Boston Celtics (1-4) Friday night at 7 p.m. ET.

The Magic’s defense has been outstanding in the first five games. They currently lead the NBA with 48.4 rebounds per game. They have also held their last three opponents’ shooting under 40 percent. By talking to the coaches and players one thing is clear, it’s a long season and they will stay humble and focused for each game.
