The Orlando Magic and Chase’s Champions of the Community (COTC) have partnered up to help refurbish 10 sports facilities around the community.
Magic’s CEO Alex Martins had the honor of cutting the ribbon and presenting local youth with the new and improved basketball court at John H. Bridges Community Center. This new court will impact over 250 children in the area, which mainly serves Hispanic children in the Head Start Program.
After unveiling the new court, Victor Oladipo, Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw conducted a mini-basketball clinic.
The Orlando Magic organization as a whole is very active in the community. In the 2012-13 season, Magic employees logged in nearly 6,000 community service hours.
