“Well tonight he asked me to come out of the game, so there you go. So, we pushed him a little bit, his minutes, gave him six to seven minute segments. He got a little tired on his second segment and so he’s still got some growth, as far as conditioning is concerned. He’s one of out most conditioned athletes on the team, so I don’t have any worries that he’ll get back to that level,” head coach Jacque Vaughn said after the game.
Arron Afflalo led the team with 21 point, grabbed five boards and had two assists. Veteran point guard Jameer Nelson only played in the first quarter and left the game with a sore left knee. He will be looked at on Saturday before the team departs for Boston.
