Steve Nash didn’t practice on Monday as expected after tweaking his back getting out of bed, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Nash is back with the Lakers and here is the official statement, via Lakers’ spokesman John Black.
“The plan for him is to have a practice on Thursday and he’s basically day-to-day,” Black said. “We’ll update you on whether he’ll play Friday based on how Thursday’s practice goes.”
The struggling Lakers remain 15 games out of first place, and I’m sure they would love to have Nash on court as soon as possible. Nash will miss tonight’s game, and of course, it is against the best team in the Eastern Conference right now, the Pacers.
